Andy Zurcher: Helping Parents Add More Quality to Time Spent with Their Kids
Andy: Glad to be with you, Spiffy! For starters, I noticed how busy life is for today's parents. We see that 78% of parents wish they had more time available to spend with their kids, and 82% feel like their children are growing up far too quickly. Unfortunately, quality time is rare and increasingly hard to find. Although 94% of parents believe creating lifelong memories with their kids is very important, 70% constantly worry about not creating enough.

Matt Miller: Using AI to Make Learning More Fair, More Effective, and More Fun
Matt: Glad to be with you, Spiffy! At Oko, we believe that artificial intelligence (AI) has the power to make learning more fair, more effective, and more fun! We're using AI to power small group learning activities, with an initial focus on collaborative math games and puzzles for grades three to five. Our vision is that teachers and tutors can use Oko as part of small group rotations with their existing lessons and curricula. In the future, we see Oko being used for small group activities across many different subject areas and ages.

Teachers and parents do not have time or confidence to plan these high quality playful inquiry activities and many training and resources are really time consuming and expensive.
