Your privacy is important to us. We believe you, as a user of the Ladderworks LLC website (the "Ladderworks Site"), should always know what data we collect from you and how we use it. You should also know that you have meaningful control over both. With respect to information submitted or collected on the Ladderworks Site, by using the Ladderworks Site, you accept the Privacy Policy set forth below. This Privacy Policy does not pertain to, and Ladderworks is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party websites to which the Ladderworks Site hyperlinks.
1. Activity Logging. When you use or access the Ladderworks Site, which may be hosted in part or its entirety by a third party, the Ladderworks Site will collect information (through, for example, the use of “cookies” or your “IP address”) about your activities in connection with the Ladderworks Site. “Cookies” are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive, not on the Ladderworks Site. You are always free to decline cookies if your browser permits, but in that case, some portions of the Ladderworks Site may not operate properly. An “IP address” is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet.
Ladderworks LLC uses the information generated by your use of the Ladderworks Site information (the “Activity Information”) for internal purposes only. Examples of such a use are administration or improvement the Ladderworks Site, and helping Ladderworks LLC understand how the Ladderworks Site is being used (for example, the demographics and “clickstreams” of its visitors).
Ladderworks LLC may also use Google Analytics, Google Analytics Demographics, Heap Analytics and Interest Reporting to collect information regarding visitor behavior and visitor demographics. This analytics data is not tied to any personally identifiable information, as defined by these third party service providers. 2. Personally Identifiable Information. The Ladderworks Site is designed so that you may browse it without providing any Personally Identifiable Information (defined below). Certain areas of the Ladderworks Site, however, may require or allow the voluntarily submission of Personally Identifiable Information (for example, registration to receive Ladderworks newsletter or other publications). Ladderworks LLC uses your Personally Identifiable Information for the purposes for which it was submitted by you to Ladderworks LLC. For example, you may submit Personally Identifiable Information in order to enable Ladderworks LLC to send you publications and invitations that may be of interest to you. Except as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy, Ladderworks LLC does not share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties.
“Personally Identifiable Information” means information that would allow someone to identify or contact you. For example, your name, physical or electronic mail address, and telephone number would likely be considered Personally Identifiable Information. Personally Identifiable Information does not include aggregated information that, by itself, does not permit the identification of individual persons. The Activity Information would not be Personally Identifiable Information.
3. Removal of Personally Identifiable Information. Ladderworks LLC will use reasonable efforts to remove your Personally Identifiable Information from our then current Ladderworks Site as soon as reasonably practicable. Please contact us at contact@ladderworks.co in order to notify us of your request so that we can identify the information that you would like to remove.
4. No Additional Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information. Ladderworks LLC may share Personally Identifiable Information with third parties, including affiliated firms and third parties performing services for or on behalf of Ladderworks. Such services may include communications, database, event management, hosting, mailing, and marketing services. Ladderworks LLC may also be legally obligated to disclose Personally Identifiable Information to the government or regulatory authorities. Ladderworks LLC cannot fully ensure that your Personally Identifiable Information will not be disclosed further in such circumstances. For example, Ladderworks LLC may be legally obligated to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, third parties may circumvent Ladderworks LLC's security measures to unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or an error may occur in the administration of the Ladderworks Site. In the unlikely event that Ladderworks LLC needs to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, Ladderworks LLC may, and you authorize Ladderworks LLC to disclose any information about you to government officials as permitted by applicable law.
6. New Uses of Personal Information. Before Ladderworks LLC uses Personally Identifiable Information for any new purpose not originally authorized by you, Ladderworks LLC will endeavor to provide information regarding the new purpose and give you the opportunity to opt out.
7. Changes to Ladderworks LLC’s Privacy Policy. Ladderworks LLC may revise this Privacy Policy in its sole discretion or review it periodically. If there are any material changes to this Policy, Ladderworks LLC will deem you accept this Policy by the continued use of Ladderworks Site. We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this web page, and the revised version will be effective immediately when it is posted (or upon notice as applicable).
8. Miscellaneous. Ladderworks LLC has implemented and follows appropriate technical measures to protect against the risks of unauthorized access to, erroneous disclosure of, and unlawful interception of Personally Identifiable Information. You should know, however, that Ladderworks LLC cannot fully eliminate such risks. Ladderworks LLC hopes this Privacy Policy clarifies Ladderworks LLC's procedures regarding its collection, use and disclosure of your information including Personally Identifiable Information. From time to time, Ladderworks LLC may modify this Privacy Policy. Such modifications will be effective on the date that Ladderworks LLC posts the modified statement to the Ladderworks Site.
