Gustavo:Great to be here, Spiffy! Did you know that more than 90% of our brains are built in the first six years of our lives? Just as we exercise to grow our muscles and keep our bodies healthy, it is very important during these years for parents to interact with their babies and children in certain ways to help their brains grow in a healthy way. But babies don't bring instructions when they are born, so even if they hide it from you, parents often struggle to know how to support them during this stage. Just as your coach at school knows how to train you to make you stronger and better at basketball, baseball, soccer, or your favorite sport, we atBabySparkshelp turn parents into their kid's “brain coaches” so they help grow their brains and make them stronger in these first years.
Tyrance:It’s my pleasure to be here, Spiffy!Black Tech Street's mission is to rebirth Black Wall Street as a premier Black Tech Ecosystem and catalyze a movement that sees Black people embrace STEM and entrepreneurship to build wealth and impact the world. In the day to day, we serve as a liaison between the Tulsa ecosystem and Black-Tech-focused opportunities as well as the chief storyteller for the rebirth of Black Wall Street through technology.
Ankita:Thanks for having me, Spiffy! AtthePOWAN Initiative, we aim to support K-12 students from communities of color that historically have limited access to supplemental educational enrichment. As COVID-19 unexpectedly changed the way students access education, we are closing the equity gap by empowering marginalized students and increasing student academic success. We assist K-12 students in the Inland Empire and other parts of the United States. Our trained instructors empower students with special needs and disabilities as well.
