Kiki Mwiti: Closing the Funding Gap for Underrepresented, Diverse Founders

Kiki Mwiti: Closing the Funding Gap for Underrepresented, Diverse Founders
Kiki: DYVVYD leverages data and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide overlooked and often underestimated founders the power to access capital. The platform targets investors who are “ahead of the curve” in terms of prioritizing investments in underrepresented founders—such as women and people of color. We provide a digital community where both investors and founders can be introduced, foregoing barriers such as the warm intro or elite network. DYVVYD is intentional in closing the funding gap for women and minorities by digitizing investor relations, specifically for these identities. We support them via introductions and deal flow, making recommendations based on activity or interaction, and collecting data against successful connection points.

Jeffrey Prosserman: Charging Forward for Climate Action at Voltpost
Jeffrey Prosserman: Gas cars and trucks are making our world hotter and air dirtier. Everyone must switch from gas to electric transportation for our planet to stay safe and healthy. Many people want to make this change, but they are worried about where to charge cars. We started Voltpost to provide everyone with easy and affordable electric vehicle charging access. We do this by transforming lampposts into electric vehicle chargers. Our goal is to get more electric vehicles on the road, so we can help our shared home.

Jen Fry: Using Conversation to Educate and Empower the Athletic World

Jen Fry: Using Conversation to Educate and Empower the Athletic World
Jen: Happy to be with you, Spiffy! My company addresses the lack of conversations between race and sports within college and professional athletics. We are a social justice education firm that uses conversation to educate and empower those within athletics through an anti-racist lens on issues of race, inclusion, intersectionality, diversity, and equity. We facilitate dialogue with small and large groups, athletic departments, athletic teams, staff, administrations, schools, affinity groups, identity groups, and much more. We use our anti-racist lens to advise on best practices that will create equitable searches, hiring, on-boarding practices, methods of retaining staff, retaining student-athletes, supporting student-athletes, staff and coaches, and community building.
