Saikiran: The world’s scientists are working to solve humanity’s most pressing problems. Unfortunately, they are equipped with archaic tools, with knowledge stored in unstructured formats and published as incomplete narratives. This impedes the speed of discovering or building upon valuable information. Typeset is helping researchers discover, write, collaborate, and publish their research, thereby solving the accessibility and visibility problem in research and accelerating scientific progress.
Edward: My journey began when I took a break to travel, beginning in Bangladesh, and visited over 200 social enterprises (SEs) across South Asia. Seeing firsthand their impact in slums, villages, and farms amazed me, but I also saw their lack of access to capital— inspiring me to start Givfunds.
Fabien: When I was a kid, I loved using my piggy bank to save money, but I also used it to give to charity. I remember having conflicting thoughts about it though: Was it appropriate to use my parents’ pocket money to do so? How much should I give versus save? Growing up, I came up with the idea of a digital piggy bank that would facilitate giving in a financially healthy and sustainable way. And what is a better character than an agile and astute rabbit to help you to do so!? bunny.money was born.
