Jamie-Lee: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! The goal of the Summer Workshop for Young Writers is to provide creative high school students, especially those who have not had similar opportunities, with the chance to dedicate full days to the practice of writing. We believe strongly in the power of the creative community and in collaborative learning with storytelling at the center. We also feel strongly about giving high school students, especially first-generation and low income students, the opportunity to spend time on a college campus.
Fish: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! Across the country, kids are struggling with their confidence. Every kid deserves to feel that they matter, that they can achieve their goals, and that they'll be OK if they make mistakes. But many of them don't feel that way. As many as 65% of teens struggle with confidence, and that in turn is leading to increased anxiety and depression. At Legends, we're creating programs that help kids build confidence one day at a time. Confidence isn't a trait you have, it's a skill you can practice and improve. And it leads to increased happiness, wellness, and success for those who have it. Every kid, no matter who they are, deserves to love showing up as themselves. We're giving them the tools to make that a reality.

The Chief of Staff Association is an organization that brings together current and former chiefs of staff from various industries, including government, military, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. The association aims to provide a platform for chiefs of staff to network, share knowledge, and collaborate on best practices. The association provides a forum for members to discuss common challenges and opportunities, share insights and experiences, and learn from one another. Members can participate in events, conferences, and workshops, as well as access resources such as research, case studies, and training materials.
